to generate success and prosperity
Some Developmental Activities include:SMART Program
Personal development planning or PDP is a structured framework where members become aware of the skills they have; identify and develop the skills they need; and work out what they want to achieve and how to achieve it. To accomplish this, each member receives a personalised growth plan, guidance from expert career coaches, and the necessary resources to support their dreams.
The GAYAP Program
The Gayap Program will reinvigorate the tradition of people getting together to complete huge tasks, like clearing land, creating ‘smart safe spaces’, or carrying out impactful environmental initiatives. This and other forms of Community Outreach will be accompanied by music, food and appropriate beverages while empowering our members to play a central role in transforming their communities.
Touring Adventures
Members will embark on a journey of a lifetime as they travel on tour to other countries. It is a remarkable way to explore the world, embrace new experiences, and broaden their horizons while entertaining audiences at a wide range of spectacular shows, extravaganzas and Tattoo events across the world.
Landship History & Traditions
Members receive a window into the rich culture, traditions, and social dynamics which created and evolved Landship. This training fosters a deeper understanding of the gift of Landship Heritage and a broader perspective of its legacy by showing how the development of 'Landship' helped to positively shape the fortunes of ordinary Barbadians.
Leadership Training, Financial Literacy & Entrepreneurship
Our members receive the tools to navigate and optimize their financial resources and entrepreneurship aspirations. In a world full of opportunities, being financially literate and supported by a network of friends empowers our members to achieve more than their peers. They explore the essence of financial literacy, its role in personal and entrepreneurial development, and the challenges faced along the way, particularly in Barbados. During this course, members receive Entrepreneurship and Promotional support for their initiatives and Awards for success through The Flame Award.
The Benefits
By focusing on youth empowerment, our activities and experiences are supplemented with personal developmental approaches. Understanding their current and future requirements helps to shape the organisation’s methods for fulfilling whatever their dreams may be.
